I really like Black Sabbath with Ozzy... they are the ones who brought doom and even thrash to life; in fact, bands like Overkill and others, in some songs, have Sabbath-like grooves. With Ozzy, they had dark, sick sounds concentrated in the early albums, at least up to "Sabotage." Then, Ronnie James Dio contributed to the evolution of a more '80s metal sound, like his solo career, which produced masterpieces like "Heaven & Hell" and "The Mob Rules." Later with Martin and Gillan, they achieved some good success, but we are far from the unforgettable masterpieces of Ozzy and Dio. On the other hand, the choice to reunite with Dio and Appice on drums was very good... their performance at the Gods was amazing.

It's true! "In For The Kill" is an album by the great Budgie of "Breadfan"... they're strong too.

Here’s Starblazer, I listened to some songs, that is, the ones you recommended to me, and I find them quite beautiful and interesting. "Disturbing The Priest" and "Trashed" are really metallic and powerful, especially the former, while the epic and melancholic "Born Again" is truly moving and heart-wrenching. It's an album that perhaps doesn't deserve a 5 like "Paranoid" and "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath," but definitely a solid 4... that seems to me like the most appropriate score.

Ah okay Starblazer, thanks. I’ll get them now with dear Lime Wire ;)

You keep reviewing very well, especially great albums. I really love Black Sabbath, both with Ozzy and with Dio, but I haven't listened to this album with Ian Gillan yet. Anyway, I've heard good things about "Born Again," and thanks to your review, I’m even more curious. Well done, and ignore the stupid comments.. keep it up! LET THE SABBATH BEGIN! \m/

I really love Saint Vitus and Witchfinder General as well. Amazing! I also adore Candlemass.. their early albums are phenomenal. DOOM ON!!

Yes, indeed, Starblazer, I want to give you a piece of advice as a friend, since I've been writing on Debaser for a little longer. When you review metal bands of any kind, it’s best not to allow anonymous comments, because in the end, most of the time, they just write nonsense. As you can see, I never let anonymous commenters chime in.. ;)

I’ve heard them mentioned... I’ve seen a few videos of some songs from recent works. The review is nice and interesting, but Amorphis has never piqued my curiosity. Anyway, you did well to review them!
