Chicago Chicago 16
Voto:
Surely, before this work they were having a tough time... even Hot Streets lacks that punch one expects from Funky/Westcoast AOR/art rock and similar genres. Phases 16, 17, 18, 19, and 21 bring them back to an excellent level.
What you're missing, Waiting for you to decide, Hard to say I'm sorry, What can I say, and Love me tomorrow are the standout tracks.
Chicago Chicago 17
Voto:
I love Chicago with the first 2 albums, including Sing a mean tune kid from the third (with Kath's most cosmic solo). After that, they become a bit too predictable, while I would have preferred if they had taken on that sound similar to the early works of the Tubes. I start loving them again from phase 16 to 21 (all important albums from the rich AOR container).
Iron Maiden Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Voto:
The last album of the golden phase. For Maiden fans, I would also mention Samson's Head on/Shock tactics featuring the young Bruce Dickinson...never too often mentioned but the creators of two great albums.
The Alan Parsons Project Eye in the Sky
Voto:
But why doesn’t the Goddess of Music send down geniuses to Earth like she used to?! Alan and all his divine singers who have sweetened her ethereal atmospheres. And shall we talk about the black and white keys that have drawn molecules in the sky in the seminal electro groove?! Thank you Dislo!
Caravan Back to Front
Voto:
Back to front is the most beautiful album since Cunning Stunts. There are 4 lovely tracks like Proper Job, Sally Don't Change It, Back to Herne Bay Front, and Visions of Hollywood.
Killing Joke Night Time
Voto:
Super disco with dark night vibes, perfect for a cool drive. I love them all the way to Brighter with those Adorations and Sanity.

Okay, I don't know how to write this word: THANK YOU.
AHAH Tubeway, Clock, Schulze, Foxx, Numan... it's not good that you always read my mind. The photo is obviously just fine, but maybe I’ll surprise you with the one for the "artistic page." The exotic, drug-fueled cars that @[Dislocation] mentioned I'll save for the day I take you to the aphrodisiac Lake Bolsena. And anyway, the mood is always that of Cannibale and Zanardi. I don't like Pompeo because I remember that blood tests always left my arm aching.
Terry Callier What Color Is Love

I give both of them a 5 even though the genre, although divine, is not among my favorites. But you have to find a publisher and write, write...

What is the point of a revolution when you can run your fingers up and down along the impeccable seams of a chaise longue?
