Well, it's true that in the seventies and eighties there were the beloved LPs, which have unfortunately now been replaced by CDs. For me, however, Status Quo are one of the greatest rock bands... perhaps they need to be rediscovered!

It's true, supersoul, in the third volume there's the cover of "Roadhouse Blues" and indeed it was performed very well by Status Quo... to me, it doesn't really seem like they were making fake or mainstream music in the seventies. They influenced metal bands like Metallica, Rush (listen to "Big Fat Mama" and "Backwater"), Budgie... By the way, I also thank the talented Defender85 and I truly recommend him to listen to this band!! IT'S ONLY ROCK'N'ROLL BUT I LIKE IT!!

I would have never expected someone like him to even try to write the chords and notes... Alphy86 said something absolutely right: "It's because of people like this that music is going downhill!"

And those chords are strange too (I don't know if they're right, I should play them) that he wrote for "Purple Haze" and "Manic Depression" !!

But do we really want to fool ourselves?? For me, yes, because comparing Ramazzotti to Hendrix is a musical blasphemy, an insult to MUSIC!! But still, there are these idiots around who don't understand good music from bad music?? We're in a terrible state!! It's pointless to review and talk about famous and talented bands if there are subjects like this!! This isn't about not respecting other people's tastes but simply about making those who don't know it understand TRUE MUSIC!!

Look, grandpa, there is a huge difference between being commercial and incapable (Ramazzotti) and being famous and commercial (Beatles)! If I had been born in the sixties (maybe), I wouldn't have considered the Beatles commercial at all, because if they were, they could afford it and deserved it!

For me, the Beatles have been, are, and will always be geniuses, the greatest band that has ever existed!! They were the first band I ever listened to, and if it weren't for them, I don't even know what music I would have encountered... it's the Beatles who directed me towards hard rock and metal. If you think about what they "invented," "discovered," "played," and "experimented" with, from works like "Revolver" to "Let It Be," it's impressive!! They are the FOUNDERS of ROCK!!

The drug has caused irreparable problems to your brain, not to the Beatles... you try to be funny with your naive, childish critiques... keep it up and you'll become the dumbest music critic in the world!!
