Yes Bartle, but look, I understood your message perfectly too, it’s just that we misunderstood each other, that’s all!

And I don't want to take away space from everyone else either.. I've seen people who have done 80, 85 reviews, I'm only at the halfway mark. I don't want to be selfish, a know-it-all, or conceited; on the contrary, I'm reviewing some Italian metal groups to help you get to know, appreciate, and listen to the music that was made twenty years ago, both in Italy and abroad. I want to bring to your attention bands that have neither been reviewed nor mentioned until now.. I do this mainly for you, to engage in dialogue with you, and to know your opinions! That's it! :)

Oh okay, but I absolutely did not want to provoke Bartle, absolutely! Maybe I expressed myself poorly... anyway, for now I shouldn't write any more reviews (also because at the moment I've finished the groups to review... perhaps if something interesting comes up, I'll write next week). Lately I’ve been doing a few reviews because I wanted to finish the list of bands I liked... anyway, I absolutely didn’t want to provoke anyone! Until next time! :)

Darn it, but on which band had you done it?

The cover of Shining Blade's "Touch The Night" seems to almost foreshadow Rhapsody and Domine... very epic and fantasy, although they played classic heavy metal/AOR.

I agree with what has been said so far, but it would certainly be ridiculous if Spitfire had done an album cover with pentagrams, inverted crosses, and goat faces, because their music is not black or death metal. Their genre is classic metal, so they went with a cover that is a bit simple, predictable, and fun. Heavy metal has never really had fantastic, elaborate, and fantasy covers like Rhapsody, Vision Divine, Domine, and Death SS. Vanadium and La Strana produced some amazing covers (check out "Born To Fight," "A Race With The Devil," "Seventheaven," "Third Moon"). Unfortunately, there weren't many resources, and they had to make do as best as they could. However, even though they didn’t focus on the cover, they elaborated and studied the music, and there’s no doubt about that. For example, Italian metal bands with good artwork include Shining Blade with "Touch The Night," Rex Inferi, Vanexa, Skanners, Sadist, Dark Quarterer, Unreal Terror... you can easily see them in my reviews, take a look! Comparing Spitfire to Iron isn't sensible.. in England there was another world, while in Italy it was already a big deal that there were these bands making metal!!

Well, I think so, even though it's strange that they haven't published it yet, considering you sent it on Tuesday evening... you'll see that if they publish it, they'll do it later today.

I sent it on Wednesday at eleven in the evening.

Well, this cover can be defined as a sort of proto-epic metal!! The cover is a bit simple, it almost looks hand-drawn, but aside from this little detail, the band is really in great shape. Spitfire are truly a prepared group… the guitarists are really monstrous! Unfortunately, the covers of some Italian metal bands are a bit ugly, due to the limited resources they could have… underground bands like them were in rather poor conditions. Anyway, I highly recommend them!

Yes, I first saw the video for "You Can't Stop The Music" when Pino aired it on his episode of Database. What can I say, it's a fantastic, beautiful, and immense piece, just like Pino's comment at the end! Those phrases really summarize the right ideals that should be learned in this world! Pure rock 'n' roll. The videos for "Run Too Fast," "Easy Way To Love," and "Wartrains" are also very nice.
