Nice disk, but I don't feel like giving it my all. Not because there's anything wrong, but I love Slick too much :-)

Talking about Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin in this context requires an immediate mouthwash.

I didn't like the review because it doesn't talk about the tracks on this album, and because it's half a recap of the band's history, and mainly because I don't agree with what it says. While this trajectory might be downward, I find Fear of and In Abstentia to be very pleasant albums, whereas Deadwing is definitely the lowest point. It's clear that evaluating this album in relation to the albums of the '90s ends up diminishing it significantly, but a free-minded listen, which is more easily done when experiencing them live, can only be enjoyable. For me, only the last track is somewhat trivial.

In my opinion, Omega has certainly delivered their couple of absolute masterpieces. This Fear Of is a great album, but nothing sensational. The last track is a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the album. Wilson and Harrison flawless as always.
