Another great choice from our Eliodoro! The Olivers are fantastic; I met them through Rizzi, and like More, it's a dramatic fairy tale.

Uhh, what a group you brought up! I only have Solar Music Live, late (from '78, I believe), and it's a really well-made space album, with echoes of Nektar, a band I go crazy for. Congratulations on your choice!

Nothing personal, if it were just about your industrial warehouses, but when I see you in the Salentine pine forests mingling with the people of the sun and the taranta, it makes me recoil. The reviews of the albums you mention are my own; they weren't just a number. Here we are talking about the Popol Vuh: no ambition... it was their modus vivendi... and they managed to convey this solely through music, focusing everything on a mysticism that was not sporadic or superficial, but fundamental to their approach (a prerogative really of the few; Sun Ra and the Third Ear Band come to mind now) and, importantly, without relying on lyrics. They are not an alternative group that makes great music; they are much more than that. Where do you find ambition or arrogance in Hosianna Mantra?

Oh my God, lux... so... I'm not a fan of Popol Vuh and, above all, I try to give judgments based little or not at all on personal tastes... I've never shit outside the pot regarding bands as significant as Popol Vuh, do you know who they are? Musicians with balls like few in history, their music, besides being music per se, touches on non-artistic fields such as religion and deep naturalism, the communicative power of sounds that don't need lyrics... well... I don't eat anyone alive, but 3 is mediocrity, sufficiency, and those aren't characteristics that suit Florian and his companions, nor this Affenstunde for that matter.
