Deep Purple Made In Japan

But for heaven's sake, I would have wanted to review it myself: it's my favorite album!!.. and at least my review would have been my own work... I already knew that Gillan, with the amplification, reaches decibel levels of a plane during takeoff, I read it on Wikipedia too, but right on Wikipedia it says: "IT IS SAID THAT Gillan...". Basically, it's one of those urban legends that circulate in rock, a bit like the story that Paul McCartney is dead and the one we all know is just a lookalike... do you get my point??
David Lynch The Elephant Man

One of the most moving films ever made. A masterpiece of magnificence. And great reception.

I don't have this record, but the band was one of the "magnificent" ones of rock. A fundamental band.

the capputtone at sannocanro is called "Scemenza".. :-) PS: aside from the title track and a couple of other songs, I don’t know this album, but anyone who criticizes the Eagles deserves a capputtone-scemenzone!
Mississippi Mass Choir It Remains To Be Seen

"gospel choirs pass through the city every Christmas" Dear Ramona, I don't know if the ones you hear at Christmas are gospel choirs, but I doubt it: if by gospel you mean the children's choirs that sing "Jingle Bells" and "Happy X-mas," then it's not the gospel I have in mind. If you go to YOUTUBE and search for Mississippi Mass Choir and Mahalia Jackson, you will be able to listen to (and see) the true gospel...
Miss Simpatia Ciao Fibra

I won't rate this new single by Fibra (which, from the name, you can already tell is crap) because unfortunately, we can't give ratings below one here. And I agree with Kid B: the best are those who have truly proven it by winning the Champions League against all odds...
Tim Buckley Happy Sad

I don't know this album (I'll try to get it), but he is one of the greatest artists of the past century... Although I think his son has caught up with him in some respects... Ah, the review is beautiful.
Symphony X Paradise Lost

The ARK? That’s a nice little group... and with Jorn Lande they really rocked... as for Stratovarius, I find that they are a band that has put out some pretty mediocre albums, I admit, but there are others that are really good (and many songs, "Forever" above all, are quite expressive). Tool a band for queers?? I don’t remember who said that, but evidently, they weren’t feeling well when they wrote it...

Ehyy, damn how many comments!.. and the discussion, at least above, is interesting... so: Symphony X are a piece of shit? I don't think so. I've listened to this album, and I can't disagree with many of you: it sucks. However, I mean, is there some idiot (because that's what it is, if they say otherwise) who can't admit that "The Divine Wings of Tragedy" is not a good album? Personally, I consider it their best work, and for me, it’s worth 4+/4.5. Likewise, with Dream Theater, I would flush down the toilet (and pull the chain) 60-70% of their discography. But is there anyone here who thinks that "Images and Words" is not a great album (personally, it deserves a 4.5)?.. So we need to make some big "distinctions": Symphony X, like DT, have done and still do crap. From these groups, I don't like it when they abuse technical virtuosity, which, I agree with many of you, often ends up being aimless and at times irritating. However, they’ve also made beautiful things, let's not generalize everything by saying: "it's a shitty band," because that's not true at all...
