I would say I agree with a couple of comments above :) anyway, in 2004 the re-edition was released with some bonus tracks..maybe do some research before writing a review?

Nice review..the album is one of those that I'm missing from listening to Amorphis, but from how you describe it I’d say I need to catch up :)
It probably never appealed to me much because of the cover, really ugly (by the way, what does it represent?)

The opening riff of "No Prayer for the Dying" is so iconic that good old Steve decided to recycle and adapt it for "Fear of the Dark"... a mediocre album, overall.
