This is the first review I'm commenting on, despite the other 6, because in the meantime I've listened to the CD xD
Anyway, this CD isn't too bad, actually... sure, Axl should have changed the band's name, because there's nothing left of the Guns, but technically we're on another level here!
The songs, aside from 3-4 that are a bit pointless, and despite being full of effects, overdubs, electronic inserts, and various nonsense, are still well composed; the best ones for me are: Chinese Democracy, Better, Sorry, This I Love, There Was a Time, Catcher in the Rye, and especially Street of Dreams.
In conclusion, it's true that it’s not the masterpiece one might have expected after 15 years, it’s true there’s much better out there, but I didn’t dislike this CD (my rating would be 3.5 :) ).

Sorry to join the chorus, but you really messed up downloading the CDs...
Okay, "Street of Dreams" was called "The Blues," but "Silkworms" really...
For the rest, the CD, from what I've heard, isn't that bad, just a bit too "full" of sounds, effects, overdubs... and anyway, it was clear that they weren't the Guns anymore :(

I have something saved somewhere on my computer, maybe "Terria"... I even listened to it, but I gave up after a while; it's really hard to understand and appreciate, even though I recognize its great qualities as a composer and musician. However, I remember that I really liked "Life"! Now, I don’t know what this comment has to do here since I’ve never talked about the album in question, but... xD
Andrew Stanton Wall-E

I'm sorry to ruin the average a bit, and I'm preparing myself to receive tons of insults, but this animated film kind of disappointed me: the first part was excellent (although a bit distressing :D), while when the action shifted to the spaceship, it lost something: it felt a bit too rushed and underdeveloped in some areas. Everything else was truly beautiful; I agree that it's a visual spectacle, especially the part set among the "remains" of planet Earth... and Wall-E is incredibly adorable xD.

Jon Oliva's Pain Global Warning

Thank you for the comment, Ocram :)
Regarding the interviews, I also read one where Jon stated that "instead of Savatage today, there is TSO: the same band, the same musicians, the same composers... and there is still a valid alternative, Jon Oliva's Pain: they are more Savatage than Savatage themselves!" The gist was more or less that; actually, it seems that the choice to continue with TSO rather than the "main band" Savatage was due to economic reasons.
Anyway, since you've published some reviews on Savatage, and given your passion for them, I recommend listening to this album, I think you won't be disappointed ;)
Dream Theater Images And Words
Voto:
Intimidated by the Metallica's dominating rise with "Death Magnetic", Dream Theater make their comeback in our chart of the most reviewed albums! "Images and Words" now sits at 12, but it's still far from the top...
I think the review is a bit too forced in its attempt to be humorous/funny (except for the power cut at the end of "Pull Me Under" xD).

14 reviews and a steadily firm 3rd place for "DM"!! Come on, just 6 more and we’ll reach the top... I no longer comment or vote on reviews and the album (which after all, I quite like).

"..my exploratory spirit in the field of music has given me the courage to listen to some of the other songs on the cd.." in my opinion, you're just a masochist :D anyway, I join in the compliments of Paloz.
