Well, these have always intrigued me because I've always heard great things about them, but I've never listened to anything... if I wanted something, following your list it seems to me: definitely the first two works, then I’ll skip the mid-'90s works and dive straight into the latest ones?

The 32 and the 37 made me laugh so hard xD
A heavier review than listening to the DT CDs from this one to the last all in a row (but this one is really nice...)

Beautiful, beautiful... this is what I was missing! I managed to find some demos online, but they were already from the Guns n' Roses era. I've heard about the legendary "November Rain" that's 20 minutes long, but it seems a bit hard to believe; however, on those demos I mentioned, there's the acoustic version that's about 4 and a half minutes long :) (it's also available on YouTube:

I've only heard their covers of "Battery" and "Fear of the Dark"... my reaction was exactly what you described: loud laughter with tears in my eyes; but then I never reached the next phase of appreciation, probably because I've never heard any of their original songs (and I don't think I ever will, what I've heard was enough for me...)

Beautiful :)
I'll make a note of these and look them up (I love discovering semi-obscure/forgotten heavy/thrash bands, thanks for the tip)

But who is he, Eddie's brother, the one on the cover?
Never heard of him, I’ll try to look something up, thanks for the tip :)
Gamma Ray To The Metal

I haven't heard the album yet, except for the title track, which is truly horrible: isn't it about time to stop copying left and right (in this case, more than the lyrics from Manowar, the song itself is a plagiarism of "Metal Gods" by Judas Priest, come on...) and focus on writing something a bit more personal? Even in the previous one, the borrowings from Priest and Maiden were numerous, but here it's exaggerated. Maybe it's time for good old Kai to hang up his instruments?
The review is well done, though, mentioning those 2-3 tracks that stand out from the rest has piqued my curiosity a bit; I'll make sure to give it a listen.
