“…no one has reviewed it (but knowing the average DeRecensore, it was to be expected…)…” but thank goodness!!! Better 10 reviews of the latest Maiden than this thing! (yes, rather than reading praises for these "artists," I’d prefer to lose the TFF contest :D) Anyway, what does it mean that the single is “…a nice Trojan horse?”: in the sense that it looks like something nice and super cool, but then it backfires on them 2/whoever listens to it? (anyway, they should have titled it something else, replacing CUORE with another word, but still starting with C…)

"Premised that I am reviewing an album that needs no words...": then don’t review this one, since there’s no need for any words! Instead, review the latest "The Final Frontier," where there would indeed be words to say; at least a couple of pages' worth of words all... Anyway, I don’t know what album you listened to, but "Iron Maiden" isn’t in "Killers"... I don’t know if someone has pointed it out to you already, but "Iron Maiden" is NOT in "Killers," however the fact is that "Iron Maiden" in "Killers" is NOT THERE (but maybe in some Indonesian edition...)

But above all, considering the following passages: "One of the best ballads by Iron Maiden of all time, and we are not exaggerating when we say that." and also: "...we hope the nostalgic old-timers don’t hold it against us, but this 'The Final Frontier' is truly a remarkable album...", how many people contributed to the review? 2, 3 people? So in the final tally, will it count double or triple?

And in the end, the second one has arrived too! Come on, let’s go!! I was actually starting to worry: I mean, a new Maiden album comes out and there’s ONE and I mean just ONE review, moreover published on the OFFICIAL release day of the album?!? Could this also be a sign of the Maiden's decline: the defenders are tired and betrayed, the detractors now consider them harmless, so talking trash about them becomes a bit like shooting at the Red Cross... they’re not news anymore, just a bunch of sweet old-timers :-)
Anyway, reading the comments, I’d say there will be more than 5 reviews but less than 10, so let’s take an average (by defect...) of 7 total reviews on this last The Final Frontier (by the way, will that be enough for the title of "most reviewed band on DeB"?)

Three guitars mixed and too distant, a drum set that sounds like it's made of cardboard boxes, a bass that sometimes is well present and other times is absent, a vocal performance that at times feels overly strained (and yes, Bruce can sing better now than 30 years ago...), but ultimately there are some good songs, and the listening experience, although WAY too long, is enjoyable. Not a masterpiece, but not a disaster either.
