Shy Welcome To The Madhouse

I had actually been wondering for a while what happened to the hard rock group reviews from you, AndersFriden89, or Core-a-Core... We want a DeB homepage filled with glam-speed-street-trash and whatever else you can think of :D
Joking aside, nice review, I just discovered the album (coincidence) in these days and I really like it, 4 to both.

A very beautiful and touching tribute review, congratulations... the album is one of their best (even though all the ones I know are excellent): great band Gotthard, discovered unfortunately at a time so, too close to that October 5th, to that cursed rain, to that cursed slippery asphalt... RIP Steve Lee
Alter Bridge AB III

Either Alter Bridge are Creed with Myles Kennedy on vocals, in short... :-D

Anyway, Creed are the AB with Scott Stapp on vocals, there's no denying it (the lineup is the same for 3/4), so they aren't exactly crap... has anyone listened to the reunion album, how is it?

I generally think like this when I listen to music: if I like it (like Alter Bridge), I listen to it and enjoy it, if I don’t like it (like the Ramones, since they’re mentioned), I just don’t listen to it... and I don’t care about the importance they may or may not have had, or the fact that in X years people will remember them because they’ll have left a more or less significant mark in the music world. (Then honestly, emotionally, AB communicates so much more to me than many other bands: Myles’ voice is one of the most beautiful and moving I’ve ever heard... the high note in "Breathe Again" gives me chills every time I listen to it, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that, right?)

Great album, nothing to say. At first, it didn’t impress me much; in fact, I hardly liked it except for a couple of tracks: too long and compact. But then, with more listens, it really grows on you... definitely for me, it’s another hit for the AB. If we want to keep saying, “they’re Creed, so clones of Pearl Jam” or keep comparing them to Nickelback and the like, feel free, but the truth is that the AB are on a whole different level.

Of Therion, I only know "Lemuria" and "Sirius B," which weren't even bad. I don't know this one, but come on, the cover is beautiful! :D
Heathen The Evolution Of Chaos

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, a real blow. I agree on everything, even on the excessive length of some pieces... nothing that undermines the final quality, though. Of the "survivors" of the '80s, they are among those who are doing the best.
Enrico Ruggeri Enrico VIII

uhm... well, here... in my opinion, Ruggeri is better than Vasco and Ligabue... there you go, I've said it :D

Beautiful. The only two works of yours I know are the "Marriage..." ones, which are nice but a bit too "pompous" for my taste... I haven't heard the earlier works, though the fact that you describe them as different and more rooted in classic hard & heavy intrigues me, so I'll give them a listen. Instead, a friend of mine made me listen to something from "Life Among the Ruins," which, from what I've read on some "true" sites, is considered the most commercial and easy to listen to: can anyone tell me if it's worth listening to (the little I've heard I didn't mind at all)? :-)
