Black Label Society The Song Remains Not The Same

I liked the last "order of the black," definitely more than the previous one... I haven't listened to this one yet, even though I enjoy the "unplugged-country-folk" version of the good Zakk.

I saw it too when it came out. However, a doubt arises: wasn’t she innocent and unjustly accused by some of her “colleagues”? If I remember correctly, one of the great guilt feelings that Michael will always carry is not having supported Hannah’s innocence during the trial, since she was illiterate and wouldn’t have been able to draft some documents that later condemned the Jewish women... I don’t know, I don’t have very clear memories. Anyway, I’m not voting for it, but I remember it as a somewhat uneven film: touching at some points, a bit stretched in others...

I can say that when you were reviewing metal, I really couldn't stand you, but these reviews are really well done? No offense, huh? :)
Anyway, I only know Diamonds... (really?!?)

I also agree with those who say that "in small doses it does its dirty work." After a while, it gets tiring; the sketches lose that little bit of novelty they might have had and become extremely repetitive... then again, I don't want to be a false puritan, but the vulgarity is sometimes truly exaggerated and pointless. Between 2 and 3, it’s clear that among sixteen-year-old moms, """hotties""" and various types of promiscuity, this is surely the least bad that MTV offers today...

I've never been particularly fond of MDB: probably because I've never managed to get into the right mindset to appreciate their offerings, even though I recognize their value and their ability to create atmospheres that are both decadent and dreamy (in particular, I remember the splendid "For My Fallen Angel"). Recently, however, I've noticed that their music tends to divide audiences widely... should I ever decide to give them another chance, I would say that I will avoid this Evinta, despite being intrigued by the idea of a collection of their classics (even if reinterpreted...). A review that is brief but precise and timely.

I even intimidate someone :D
Anyway Nes, take my comment with a grain of salt: black isn't really my thing, let alone its more "depressive" variations, so my comment on their style is somewhat irrelevant (although I reiterate that the piano/string/brass sections are truly beautiful and evocative).

I always enjoy reading your reviews, even if we're not exactly in my preferred genre here :) Having only given it a quick listen on YT, I can't form a judgment, but the comparison with Enslaved and Dodecc. seems spot-on; the thing is, for those same bands, I've never managed to go beyond brief listens, so...
