A sort of unplugged that revisits much of the tracks from "Order of the Black," an album released about a year ago, a commercial ploy, an unnecessary, negligible album. And yet, no.

Zack Wilde and company momentarily shed the role of "hard rock louts" (not for the horrible cover), which never really attracted me, and they release this "The Song Remain not The Same." I'm not interested in the reasons, I care about the result. Are we really going to sit here evaluating success strategies? That's their business.

I just need to press play after a day of studying and enjoy the softness of "Darkest Days", an authentic gem (already beautiful in its original version); get excited with the solos of "Parade of the Dead" and "Riders of the Damned"; celebrate the night with "Helpless".

That's it, sometimes it takes little.  To hell with technicalities, emotions are enough for me.

Also beautiful are the covers of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon and Garfunkel and "Junior Eyes" by Black Sabbath.

A monotonous album, full of strings, acoustic guitars and piano. An unnecessary album? Absolutely not.
