High as a kite. For me, it's a great album, definitely better than the next one "The VIIth Coming" and especially better than the previous "Caravan," both of which are disappointing/forgettable.

Mmmh... It seems a bit cliché to me; the distortions of conditionals/subjunctives are as old as the world. However, at least this <<Dopo cantata all'unisono da tutto il coro dei dannati dell'inferno ci sta I am Morbid, a song filled with impiety that if I were a priest and I heard it, I would throw myself from the six hundred sixty-sixth floor of the Tower of Babel, cursing like Ceccherini on L'Isola dei Famosi and shooting at the Pharisees.>> made me burst into laughter. For me, it's a solid 8... Of course, they could have cut out a couple of superfluous episodes and condensed everything into a single, juicier disc, but those are just trifles... A massive ice slab of post-metal.

Along with "Supernatural Birth Machine" and "Caravan Beyond Redemption," it's the album I like the least. On the podium, in no particular order, I place the latest "The Guessing Game," "The Ethereal Mirror," and of course "Forest Of Equilibrium."

I care too much about the Catidral, but am I the only one who doesn't go crazy for "Carnival" at all? In any case, for me, the last "The Guessing Game" remains an absolute blast; I place it on the same level as the mirror and the forest, if not even higher...
