Thank you Vincent ^^ I put the genre "Metal" because I just didn't know how to define the CD!! Grotesque?? Lagna Rock XD?? Well, I think symphonic death is the term that comes closest. Anyway... Damn, it's true, I forgot about Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam! That's great too.. Although in my opinion, the best by Gorgoroth remains the "triptych" of Pentagram, Antichrist, and Under bla bla bla.

Great review for a movie that I believe more than meets the minimum requirement.

The best songs by Gorgoroth can be found in their early albums: in Pentagram, the most notable are "Ritual," "Under the Pagan Megalith," "Måneskyggens Slave (Slave of the Moonshadow)," and "Katharinas Bortgang"... From Under The Sign Of Hell, "Revelation of Doom" is a must for fans, and "The Rite of Infernal Invocation" is not bad either. From the Antichrist album, I could recommend "Possessed By Satan" and "Gorgoroth," but I’ll stop there because from those albums onward, Gorgoroth risk becoming annoying and repetitive.. As you can see, the song titles are quite ridiculous, yet when it comes to meanness and "musical" rot, they have few rivals. Maybe the other albums aren't bad, like "Incipit Satan," but I don't know, I don't consider them important; they don't say anything new.

@World SBK Fan: Well, you know, Gorgoroth sometimes don't seem serious at all.. There are those who just see them as a band, and then there are others who take them very seriously: at concerts they sometimes go overboard.. When talking about true Norwegian black metal, you can't not mention them, just like you can't overlook small gems like "Pentagram" or "Under The Sign Of Hell", but in my opinion, they could also avoid adopting certain ridiculous behaviors that only make people LAUGH. First comes the music and then the message behind it, but damn, if the message is that, change the story a bit instead of falling into the clichés of black. Satan satan satan and antichrist.. Bah. At least, if you want to address these topics, do it with dignity; just look at Deathspell Omega: the booklets of their CDs are filled with deep occultism, the lyrics are extremely long and absolutely noteworthy.

I agree, it's just that if they have nothing more to say (FOR NOW..) they could also take a little vacation, I don't know, a sabbatical year xD.. Anyway, a glimmer of hope remains, but if the next album is like this one... Goodbye Dimmu.
