And indeed, I was too, perhaps too much, which left me a bit disappointed... I’ll say right away that I gave the album three stars, and in the review, I believe I explained my reasons coherently enough... mhuahuahuahua the 1s will rain down like confetti.

I certainly don't consider it a masterpiece; it's a good album that won't be remembered as the absolute peak of Opeth (in my opinion), unlike works like Morningrise and Still Life, which truly deserve that recognition.

@GustavoTanz: Yeah, they're not simple at all (I hated them at first), but it's precisely because of their "eccentricity" that they become as delightful as a cream puff once you understand their music and delve into every detail of the songs.
