Nice movie, but I don't find it to be a great masterpiece. Anyway, I also think the "horror" feels a bit off.

This cartoon disturbed me quite a bit. Now I would gladly watch it again...

Very interesting proposal, I will try to get this splendid live as soon as possible, at least to use it as a litter scraper for my cat.

I understand you, I try to put myself in your shoes; if someone were to somehow tarnish my Loreena McKennitt I believe I would even raise my hands. Anyway, to make it up to you, I will review a Nordvargr album soon, and the score will be much higher :) P.S. Northaunt should be savored especially when you feel dry and dull.

Hi Shooty, welcome back :)) I have little from Free, just "Fire and Water," and (in my ignorance) I found it to be an excellent album. I don't have this one, but judging by the comments, it doesn't seem that essential.

I'm sorry, but I don’t agree with a single syllable of what’s written in the review. I'm not giving it a 1, since it won't change anything. But I do give a 5 to the book.

P.S. Out of curiosity, what have you listened to by Lustmord? Because it also depends on that; he, like Nordvargr, has done several works, and each has its own peculiarity. You must have caught the most "linear" album. I can't believe that records like "Rising" or "Carbon/Core" could be considered too linear! I don't know, if that's really the case, then it's just a matter of tastes and expectations, especially in the ambient field (where everyone interprets music in their own way). P.P.S. Have you ever heard of Desiderii Marginis? If you have and you also find him too linear, then don't even bother reading my reviews because you would find those overrated as well. As always, it's a matter of perspectives. Again, thanks for commenting.

I'm totally fine with the 1 for the review (it's not a crime! xD), the only point I feel like making is about Northaunt, whom I absolutely adore. I remember a couple of people online who were very into ambient music recommended it to me, and I got it. Perhaps because it’s tied to the sounds of nature, it really struck me. I listen to that album ("Horizons") (a lot) often and, I don't know, I find it poetic and fascinating... and above all, hypnotic. Maybe we perceive its linearity in different ways. Anyway, this review isn’t an attack on Nordvargr, especially since I have 4 other works of his that I find good, but the one I liked the least among them is actually this album. Anyway, I was imagining your input here, because I had already seen you in the other review on Nordvargr on the site :) ciau

No, there is no trace of an audience. In fact, I was surprised when I read that this album is actually a live performance.
