Bravo. I find them a bit bland; it must be that being used to wallowing only among the giants of the genre, I struggle to appreciate something "different." [UH!]

... But what about the other 79 demos..? ....... Okay, I’ll take that as a yes. I give the floor to my little bank.

I admit that I've partially re-evaluated the album in my recent listens. It's not easy to assimilate the music of "Above"; it has a wall of sound that is truly unusual by Samael's standards. In fact, only after many listens can one distinguish a certain "order" within the melodies that at first remains buried beneath the relentless blast beats and the often excessive speed of each track, not to mention the rather plastic production. The flaws are still the same, and no one can take them away; I just notice them much less than before, and I can listen to two or three tracks without any problems, that's all.

I stopped by to read the rest of the discussion... I read some comments that made me nauseous. The horror. Thank goodness that perfect imbecile katarro is finally gone. Now, following the example of good Ole, I'm celebrating with champagne.

A record that I appreciated a lot even though I'm not very familiar with the genre [rating 4.5]. Sixth review that says little to nothing compared to the others.
