I have always kept my distance from funeral doom, with the exception of Evoken (whose name was actually taken from a song on this demo). I prefer classic doom, the 'English style' (for example, My Dying Bride), I find it less overwhelming. This funeral is too visceral and, at times, boring. I had heard something from Thergothon, maybe their only album Stream-From-something, but I don't remember anything..
