"It's nobody's fault," okay, not that I have blamed anyone for appreciating the album in a certain way! :DD Mine was more of a tongue-in-cheek comment, although I can't deny that I feel a bit perplexed when reading such... such... um, to call them "plethoric" would already be excessive, the fact is that when I read all this lyrical depth, I just can't seem to relate, especially when I find certain "gaps" from a strictly musical standpoint, and so I’m a bit taken aback. Therefore, the problem is probably me not being able to fully engage with certain sounds, who knows..!

True. By the way, I remember that when TGCD was released, not a few were disappointed (and, like me, unable to change their minds): too flat, too uninspired, too catchy, too fragmented... In short, pretty much the same criticisms I have for this new album. I guess I'll just wait until 2012 for the next work, assuming the world doesn't end before then :)

Hi! Nice analysis, but I'll be stubborn here; I still can't stand this album since "Idle Blood" (I’ve actually fallen asleep a few times while listening!) except for a few scattered tracks ("Departer" and "New Night"). I reiterate what I said in my previous review... I didn't expect a continuation of TGCD either; in fact, when "Forsaker" and the album cover started circulating online months ago, I thought to myself, "wow, looks like Kata have changed their skin again and have become even more autumnal than usual"... And indeed, they’re autumnal, ethereal, and melancholic... But even more boring (at least for me). Cheers!
