Hell

Genre that is no longer my thing, but who cares, the review is beautiful.

"This album really sucks. 1) Horrible and RIDICULOUS voice, it sounds like Nergal is screaming with a bag of socks stuck in his throat, and it annoyingly sounds overproduced. Luckily, he slightly changed his style in the last two albums. 2) The production is so plasticky and sterile that it makes you feel nauseous; the subsequent The Apostasy and especially Evangelion are far superior in this regard (the former is drier and more abrasive, the latter clear and devastating). 3) In any case, the songwriting doesn't hold up. There are a few good tracks (Demigod, Sculpting, and a couple more), but the rest, due to the aforementioned flaws, is just a spray of crap, and it all feels thrown together at supersonic speed, much to the delight of die-hard headbangers. 4) When he wants to, Nergal can be intriguing lyrically, but here sometimes it seems to degrade a bit into childishness, like: "OH, did you know that XUL in ancient Sumerian means 'evil'? And did you know that if we reverse the word into LUX it comes out as 'light' in Latin?!? Miiinkia now I’ll use that as the title of a song so I seem even more cultured." In short... Much ado about nothing."

Extraordinary, I place this at the top along with "Brave Murder Day," "Discouraged Ones," "Tonight's Decision," and... Christ, alongside the rest of the discography (except for that piece of junk "Night is the New Day," of course)!!

I must say, I liked this war of Mammon! I give it a 4 for the first impressions; I wouldn't be surprised if it turns into a 5-star later on...

Well, considering that I haven't seen it yet, I didn't like the review very much because it seems a bit "thrown together," and I still don't understand this new obsession against the film... Obviously, what I'm saying is based on ignorance, and so only after I've seen this blessed movie (strictly in 3D) maybe I'll have a clearer idea. I'll check back for the ratings.

But why has a review like this stayed barely a day and a half in HP?! It’s not fair! Anyway, Andrea, you're a fool; now I want to see you prance around and laugh!

I said it in the other review, and I’ll repeat it here: you’re not funny. Stop it. Spend your free time more productively, maybe with Federica and Roberta, the friend and the expert.

Soon I will send you an email, I want to share an album with you. Still sticking to the theme of "music that hurts."

I don't really trust the ruthless negative judgments (that are pouring in on this page), but I also don't want to listen to those who shout masterpiece or all this suffocating publicity. I'll try to see it (?!).

But I would also say that a double faiv is definitely appropriate..
