Nothing to do with these Scorpions.
The Rolling Stones Emotional Rescue
Voto:
A poor performance by the Stones, but in the eighties, they were already dead.

Since the last comment, I listened to him while I was busy with other things. His music is vibrant, sometimes cheerful, sometimes serene, always relaxing. Petty is a well-rounded artist. I’ll just mention a few songs: Wont Back Down, Free Falling, Into The Great Wide Open, Last Dance With Mary Jane, Learning To Fly, Roll Another Joint, Breakdown, and American Girl, my favorite.
The Teen Idles Anniversary

Your nickname says a lot; unfortunately, I don't know "I Teen Idles" and I don't know if it will be easy to find them. Good review.

I apologize to Guitarkeyb who is forced to read comments that have nothing to do with his review. I want to say again that the most beautiful interpretation of "Diamante" was gifted to us by Mia Martini, a singer who has nothing to envy from the more famous foreign artists. Finally, I had forgotten about Mogol-Battisti, who have accompanied my youth with their songs.

I would like to add that the best song in Zucchero's discography, "Diamante," was written by De Gregori. Right now, I'm listening to "L'emozione non ha voce," written by Gianni Bella, another very talented author.

In Italy, we’ve had great authors, I think of Paolo Conte, Dalla himself, and I want to add Endrigo, who was the most underrated. But for me, De Gregori is something special. Some say he copies Dylan; in reality, I believe they draw from the same creative vein, as others have done too—Neil Young or John Prine come to mind (great and almost unknown). They were also accused of the same fault, but over time, they all proved to be fishing from their own creativity. If we add to the list of songs we’ve written “Buonanotte fiorellino,” “Niente da capire,” “Titanic,” “Battere e levare,” “Cose,” and “I muscoli del capitano,” that’s enough for several CDs. As for "Pezzi di vetro," I consider it a gem. Personal opinions, of course.
