'Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the most exhilarating and sparkling party of the year!

Among Techno, Hip-Hop, House, Jungle and more, we have the pleasure of enjoying ourselves and dancing with a compilation that has arrived among us, straight from the '60s!!!

It all begins with the track that gives the title to the album, the soundtrack of the film/parody 'Dorellik', a wildly swinging beat sung by Johnny Dorelli; it's impossible to stay still when the notes of "Arriva La Bomba" flutter in the air! Our party is now just heated up to the right point, as Brunetta sings the famous notes of "Baluba Shake" with its completely African rhythm, after which the 4 Di Lucca storm in with their Surf style, reimagining a Beach Boys classic (Surfin' USA) (as everyone knows, the trend back then was to recreate international hits in Italian) adapted to our language: "Lo Sai Domani Che Faremo". I love these homemade parties, much better than discos and strobe lights... Here there's all the fruit and power that a turntable and a lamp with a colorful cloth on top can provide!

Music that makes you dance and more, it feels like being an audience of one of those variety shows that were all the rage 40 years ago, the black & white ones, presented by the very elegant Corrado and Pippo Baudo, with a full orchestra (and what an orchestra!) behind them! But let's get back to our party; between a pastry and an orange soda, we hear the most beat song possible, and so we start a group dance, all moving spasmodically while Nino Ferrer sings his "Il Baccalà". More "Italianized" covers with the Colors reinterpreting a Deep Purple classic, "Hush", and even cooler than ever, the Apostoli who get "Kesslerized", reinventing "Il Giro" in an instrumental version. What can I say, this party goes down like a treat, we wish these 18 tracks would never end!

But unfortunately, all good things come to an end and so, we reach the finale (the fateful midnight) with an exceptional groover that sends us to bed happy and content; Natalino Otto and his "L'Apaka"... Treasure this, this is a record that absolutely must be at every respectable party... especially if it's homemade! Enjoy listening everyone!
