Only the Beatles have sold more than they have, I adore them, I enjoy humming their songs, I love listening to them. I recommend watching "Muriel's Wedding" to better understand the Abba phenomenon.

Dear MuSo, I understood perfectly well, I'm no longer a young girl, do you really believe that I'm so silly as not to know that in '75 home computers didn't exist in Italy yet? But maybe it's you who doesn't understand that a woman can also have an imponderable, slight, and even frivolous consideration of life... comments on Debaser included.

To the grace of humorous finesse, whoever wrote it should write the jokes for some famous comedian. Rather, it's you who don't understand the spirit with which I write on DeBaser: I don't take it seriously, as I think it should be. You can understand this when I write: for now, I've read the first 20 lines; I’ll leave the rest for tomorrow... it seems to me that making lengthy comments on Pink Floyd, about whom everything has already been said, could be defined as therapeutic obstinacy. But aren't there already over 100 reviews? Write instead about talented and lesser-known artists; if you want, I can give you a never-ending list. And you, dear snout, instead of being almost exclusively interested in progressive music, listen to other stuff as well. (I checked out your reviews.) And don't reply with the phrase: why don't you do it?

MuSo and ContatoreDiCasiUmani, in the meantime, I’ll tell you straight that it’s you who will be made a fool of, the very fact that you’re offended proves it. What would these humorous subtleties of our de-anonymous commentators be? It seems to me that there are few humorists on DeBaser; rather, it’s full of rude people like you. I came across this review because I saw that rather big comment, you don’t expect me to read all of it, do you? IN FACT DEBASER HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE '75, it’s written, I believe... that’s the sentence I was referring to, where’s the humor?

Wow, what a comment! For now, I've read the first 20 lines; I'll leave the rest for tomorrow. But really, is Debaser around since '75? That seems unlikely; in '75, maybe the first home PCs were just coming onto the market. Or did I misunderstand?

Hi Waldo, when they started to hit their stride, as Bubi puts it, they wrote some beautiful songs; I think the first one was "Out of Time" (but I'm not so sure) a really good song, although my favorite is Sympathy for the Devil, but live, because it's a song that comes across better in concert. I don't know if you agree. But where have you been? It's been a while since I've seen your comments; are your holidays over?

I also prefer Dinosaur Jr; besides having them on some compilations, I have the CD "You're Living All Over Me." I like their sound made up of melodies that even remind me of R.E.M. mixed with Punk tones, a simple and winning recipe.

@iside, you are right, they knew how to create captivating choruses. Not to mention the cover art. Beautiful.

The music of the B-52's is characterized by rhythmic sounds, over which complex vocalities interlace, creating sensations of great allure. Unfortunately, upon reflection, this can only be affirmed for about four to five songs at most. The rest of their discography does not go beyond a stretched sufficiency; in fact, they have not lived up to expectations and have lost their way. It's a shame because their formula was truly innovative; they could have been one of the leading bands of the New Wave.

Very good this album by the Pixies, I listen to it often. Good review.
