The Cure Let's Go To Bed
Voto:
From what I know of the Cure, Pornography and Disintegration deserve a solid passing grade. But I don't feel like listening to them often.

Yeah, Gallagher, one of the best, his Irish Tour is beautiful. Jeff Beck, in my opinion, has never been able to express his potential; I don't like the albums I have. I'll add Roy Buchanan to that. I've downloaded Joe Bonamassa; I'm listening to Left Overs, which seems good on the first listen. Bubi, if you're still alive, it means you've got your act together.

Among the Italians, there was one, a real pain in the ass. Big, with long hair and sideburns, full of beer... or who knows what, he really stank... was it you?

Page, I saw him live in Zurich many years ago, and I enjoyed the concert. But since I found out that he copied some pieces from Dixon without crediting the author, I have some reservations about him. As for Steve Cropper, I know some of his songs (nice), but I mainly remember him for the: Blues Brothers.

ajejebrazorf you're right, also Peter Green, Duane Allman, Billy Gibbons. All great, Chris Whitley and Joe Bonamassa, I don't know them, I'll just throw them into Emule to see if it finds anything. Clapton... good yes, but when he played with Mayall or the Yardbirds. I’m not buying records anymore, at least for a few months.
Bob Dylan Modern Times
Voto:
I agree with supersoul, and I say Highway 61 Revisited, even though the records from the sixties, from The Freewheelin' to Blonde On Blonde, are all great. I would also include Blood On The Tracks and Oh Mercy; I also have Slow Train Coming, which I consider slightly inferior to the others. I don’t have his entire discography, but enough to assert that, in my opinion, Dylan is the most important artist in the "folk-rock" realm of the last century.

He, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and very few others are my favorite "Blues-Rock" guitarists. If in recent years names of equal stature have emerged on the scene, I don't know.
Brian Auger's Oblivion Express Second Wind

Antmo, I can't decompress it (Is that how you say it?) I can only download what I can listen to right away without zip, rar, and all that. I'm hopeless at this stuff.

I only have the album "Streetnoise" that Brian Auger recorded with Julie Driscoll; they were a great couple, it's a shame they only made a couple of records. Just listen to "Flesh Failures" (Let the Sunshine In); their version is better than the one by The Fifth Dimension. I have no doubt that Auger managed just fine without Driscoll. You could mention some tracks, so I could download them right away.

I liked it, but less than I expected, better than Drugstore Cowboy.
