James Blunt All The Lost Souls

Oh, I was expecting the storm. :D Colossal, you're still in my reviews, I must have slept with some relative of yours (long live subtlety!). Enough, you're repetitive, I can read. Go check the review I gave five stars to Apicella, go. But now disappear, though. @Bonny 91: listen to "No Bravery" from the first album, it's really about that. And in general, I think Blunt's "depressive" sound is a legacy of his military experiences, I wasn't talking about lyrics. I was talking about SOUND and STYLE, not the lyrics of the songs. @Donjunio; yes, you're right, but I don't think I'm trying to isolate him. The "soul" in music is quite a subjective thing; some of Blunt's tracks evoke some emotion in me, maybe I'm an easy sell but that's how it is. That he's not Bob Dylan or Elton John is obvious, but for me this album is sufficient. And at least it may be crap for someone, but he doesn't go around pretending to be an alternative (no names, you know them).

The Festival of Envy. The album is, in my opinion, a masterpiece.

Now Colossalyouth is coming in, believing that I seriously gave five, and will start to slander me. Want to bet? :D

So far, I've only heard the single, and after the first 5-6 listens, it frankly sounds awful to me.

Someone should help her not to self-destruct, that’s for sure. I agree with all the comments above. Even though it’s still music (music?) that I deeply loathe, Rihanna overshadows it tenfold. In every sense.

I see that they are very much appreciated on Debaser... :D

Enter Shikari create a strange blend of alternative metal, britpop, electronics, and dance. Live, trust me, they were the best band of 2007 even without hearing any others. I saw them at Italy Wave (since they played a kilometer from my house) the night of The Good, The Bad And The Queen. I'm "dissecting" the album now. Crazy but incredibly interesting.
