@ progrock: the entire album has been available for free streaming for a few days now, and I wrote the review after about thirty listens from there.

I'll be honest: I've known Alessandro personally for ten years now and the others for quite a while, and I can say that besides being a great band, they are solid individuals who believe in what they do and know how to do it well. I'll enjoy them opening for Beady Eye in Florence, where they'll be "playing" at home. As for the album, it's another step forward after the already excellent EP. After all, a band that knows how to write a song like Here In The Sand doesn't need words to be described. Great.

White Limo is one of the absolute peaks of the FF, agreed by all.

Beautiful, but Seldom remains the masterpiece. I, on the other hand, loved the Eno flavour of Rochdale Girl. :)

@ Holdsworth: I was referring to the reasons for the dissolution and what lies behind it, but I don't think I was very clear. Anyway, thanks for the feedback. :)

The only reference album for Oasis that serves as a benchmark in terms of sound and songwriting for this album is Don't Believe The Truth.

Well written, but too mean. To me, it's derivative and all that, but a good album.
