Gabriella Cilmi Lessons To Be Learned
Voto:
A review full of blunders and inaccuracies, the last sentence is perhaps the worst I've ever read since I started visiting Debaser. She has a lovely voice even if the single has crashed. And Winehouse is from another planet.

The single did not fully convince me, I haven't had time to listen to the album. I will take care of it, thanks for reminding me...

@ Ghemi: I haven't heard from them, I'll take care of it...
Nada Luna In Piena
Voto:
Nada is a great artist, often (unjustly) overlooked.
Dirty Pretty Things Romance At Short Notice

I haven't heard it yet, but in the UK it was a massive flop. The first one was good enough, but it had two absolute gems ("Bang Bang You're Dead" and "You Fuckin' Love It").

@Jackas: I listen to practically everything (except American rap and a good portion of r 'n b), but I prefer to mainly talk about British artists because it's my favorite scene. Besides, not everything in England is britpop, far from it. I agree about the influences: after all, when I was thirteen, I discovered the Kinks for the first time thanks to britpop.

Wonderful review and great comeback. A personal clarification: for me, Oasis haven't been making britpop since "Heathen Chemistry." And from the pieces I've heard from the new album, they've definitely drifted away from it (the new single has something of the more rock-oriented Primal Scream).
Pulp Different Class
Voto:
Devoured. "Disco 2000" and "Common People" are now great classics of English pop. Among other things, Jarvis has announced a new solo project with strong rock tones. We will be listening.
Brett Anderson Brett Anderson

Good album, nothing more, as I already said in my old review.
Suede Coming Up

Great album and essential band.
