Alright. I picked the Guns at random, just to give an example. By the way, my bassist told me that their record label admitted that there are no releases planned for the entire year of 2007, effectively denying that it will be released, as announced by Rose, on March 6th. I also want to add that I can't tell you if this information is reliable...

Absolutely. I have nothing to say. I'm tired too of people telling me, "Oh... Do you listen to The Shins? What the heck is that? Listen to a couple of guitar riffs from Guns, now that's real music...". And who the hell are you to decide what real music is? Whatever...

It's unfair to attack musical genres because they are deemed "useless," and britpop is often accused of this. Now, I listen to a bit of everything, and I feel like I've heard both worthless and valuable things in English pop. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I see it...

I adore Albarn, dear Vivio, but I wouldn't exalt him to these levels, to be honest. In conclusion, I would say that, roughly speaking, among Blur, Gorillaz, Democrazy, and Mali Music, this album is only inferior to Blur, Demon Days, and Think Tank. I've obviously not considered the very early Blur, due to a clear difference in musical genre.

Don't worry, Chat. Even the harsh comments help to improve. I gladly accept them, almost like compliments. Well, I guess I’m feeling a bit high myself too…

Alright, it seems clear to me that the repetition was intentional. Then again, it’s the first review, I couldn’t really start with Soulwax... And “Hurban Hymns” might not be to everyone’s taste (and it seems to me that you’re not exactly a big fan of Brit, heh heh...), but it’s not just me saying it’s a masterpiece. And I’m saying this as someone who listens to The Verve twice a year... Anyway, thanks for the tips.

Hi Dave, I would be interested to know what you think about the review, because I really enjoy your insights.

For personal tastes, I prefer The Bends. It's still an album that has influenced many bands (and has particularly made Godrich, now a highly sought-after producer, very successful).

The song is The Last Time, I don’t know the album. Anyway, it’s not exactly a cover; let’s say it’s a string sampling…
