I only heard "North American Scum" and I vote for that one, it's really a great piece.

I like the review but I don't agree with the content; it's a great album, better than the previous one, "Angoli Di Cielo" is the best on the album and the arrangement à la Pet Shop Boys is very enjoyable. De gustibus. Bye.

Why Colossalyouth, are you the one on this planet deciding who is useful or useless? Well, everyone has their own ideas… I respect your opinion.

Ah, zannab, if you want, I reviewed Just Enough Education To Perform in the past; if you’d like, you can read it, so maybe you'll find something more explanatory (ha, ha... self-promotion!!!)

Mopaga, you're right, I found it next to the article where I read the news... I apologize to Javier, then!! For ZannaB: the song you're talking about is "Have A Nice Day," from the third album "Just Enough Education To Perform," but start by listening to the first and second albums ("World Gets Around" and "Performance And Cocktails").

I'm joking, of course, Principles. Anyway, I already have the Black Rebel album, while for the new Manics one I'll wait because I still don't have it and I'm delving into "This Is My Truth..." first since I just bought it and it was the only one I was missing. But how's the new one? Have you listened to it yet? The single with that gorgeous Persson caught my interest a bit...

The Beatles Anthology 1

Keep in mind that music, if it's sophisticated, isn't automatically beautiful. It seems that sometimes you value one piece more than another just because "it's more sophisticated." Beauty often lies in simplicity. And with this, I don't mean to say that the bands listed by vellutogrigio don't appeal to me; I love them all, it's just that they are not better than the Beatles.

Stipe, I am a mass phenomenon even now that there are millions of bands. Because I am immortal. And because if one of those bands listed up here has written songs as beautiful as the Beatles, I am the Holy Father. And don’t bring up the usual nonsense that the Beatles are untouchable and blah blah blah... they are untouchable because they earned it.
