Just in case, I have the ham on my ears... So: I agree with Manliuzzo, and I think VitelloBarzotto's comment says it all... anyway, they were pushed by the media from Mentre Tutto Scorre onwards; it doesn't seem to me that many people cared about them before. And as it was to be demonstrated... if you read the comments on a review from 2004 of the album 000577, there's a series of 4s that are quite scary. After they sold, on the same album (among other things, a review by Krystal from 2006), you slaughtered them with 1s.

In the meantime, great review. Then: 1- They haven't always been crap, and I'm saying this as a NON-fan; the first album was a great work, for an Italian rock record. 2- Even Mentre Tutto Scorre contained some remarkable tracks, if we ignore the media overexposure (I'm thinking of "Nella Mia Stanza," beautiful even though it shamelessly references "Sing For Absolution" by Muse, or "Nuvole e Lenzuola," which I loved before MTV ruined it for us). I've only heard the single (yet another "cover" of Muse, just listen to the bridge) and it slipped right past me (apart from the horrible lyrics worthy of Federico Moccia). I'll listen...
