Imagine that Indigesti, at a concert in Holland, were mocked and made fun of before they played because they didn't have studs and were dressed like normal kids, but as soon as they started with their songs, they created a wave of violence and speed that those Dutch people will remember to this day, and in the end, they were applauded more than any other band present that evening... what can I say...

ahhhh, you couldn't have asked me a better question, so let's start with the 80s... my favorite group from that period, as you might have guessed, are the indigesti di sguardo realtà velocissimi, who inspired none other than the bad brains... other historical bands from that era are the peggio punx (from which I got my nickname!!!), equally fast and with a unique style and voice; you can find a compilation of all their songs. Then there's another essential band, the cheetah chrome motherfucker, also known as CCM. They were less fast, but the screams in their songs always give me chills; moreover, the singer often self-harmed and cut himself with broken beer bottles or anything sharp he could find—once he ended up in the ER because he was bleeding to death... and they even played with the dead kennedys; I recommend their song "into the void." Then there were the negazione, the most famous in Italy... absolutely fantastic in the early part of their career, the spirit continued... so wretched, declino, raw power, gioventù bruciata, and I could spend the whole night listing more... as for contemporary bands, there's sbrokko atipico from Sardinia, whom I really like, even though they disbanded; what a shame. I hope I've enlightened you with all these bands...

Yes, I was already familiar with this book, even though I’ve never read it. As soon as I pass by a bookstore, I’ll buy it; you’re not the only one who has spoken highly of it... the Indigesti are the greatest band to ever exist in Italy, definitely in the punk scene. They create poison to believe. Anyway, if the Minutemen had played for three minutes, I would have considered them post-hardcore, but thankfully that’s not the case...
