The truth is that a romantic hero should never survive their romanticism. I love the CCCP and I also bought Ferretti's book (REDUCE) which is a total bore and I am completely disappointed. As a good loyalist to the line, none of this shakes me. The CCCP were a total group. Their aesthetics included, without any lesser importance, the clothes, the slogans, and the political parades. When the group dies, the members of the group die as well. I have to admit that seeing Ferretti flirt with Giuliano Ferrara definitely has an effect. Ah, senile dementia!!!

I would like to respond a bit to all the comments made so far. First of all, the Flaming (except for the first EP) for the first three albums were three. STOP. I don't understand why I shouldn't have reviewed this lovely album. I like it, and beyond the previous review (which I also like), I wanted to share my thoughts on an album that really struck me. If I were talking about a review for the Oasis or Iron Maiden, I would agree with you, but if Debaser is bogged down, it certainly won't be because of the Flaming Lips. STOP. Then, if I spoke about the Flaming as a bunch of goofballs, I'm sorry. I know perfectly well what Godzilla Flick is about and I'm aware of the brother's story, but I still perceive it as a quirky song. Of course, they're not goofballs, but people who have played concerts dressed as The Exorcist or who did the first concert in a club for transgender folks have a sense of self-irony that, in my opinion, is even greater than their music.

Just so you know, for the first 3 albums, there were 3 (members).

I have three thousand friends and I know three thousand bands that, if you ask them what they do, they'll answer post-rock. Then you ask them like what the hell is that, and they go I dunno!!! In my opinion, these labels are sought out by the bands, especially those that have nothing to say (just look at Pearl Jam, who do nothing but commercial rock made specifically to sell that cling to the term grunge). Then you ask Cobain what kind of music do you make? Punk-rock). Labels are what sell!!!

It really seems like a bunch of nonsense to call it post rock when it’s nothing but alternative.

Alfredo, I recommend you take a look on Amazon. You can easily find it there for about 22 euros (I think) when punk rocker take acid (I don’t remember the exact title and I’m too lazy to look it up online, especially to get off the couch). It includes their first EP and the first three albums: hear it is (this one), oh my gawd, and telepatic surgery.
It’s an incredible box set. The albums are remastered (but done properly, not like the crap they did with Dinosaur Jr., which sound worse than before… compare and see for yourself), and all three are more beautiful than the last. There are rumors that telepatic surgery is the best, but how the hell can you choose? They’re all stunning!
Buy buy buy buy buy buy buy buy buy buy buy buy… it’s for your own good, but be careful!

I hate the Smashing Pumpkins. This is the only album I find bearable, but Gish, Adore, and Machina have the same effect on me as cigarettes right after waking up... run run to the toilet.

Can you explain to me what post-rock is? I don't want to mock you; I just haven't understood yet what this word that everyone keeps saying means.
