I completely agree... great album and nice review.

I'm convinced that the Verdena have no merit whatsoever, and it pisses me off because there are millions of people busting their asses from morning to night performing, and these guys have had everything handed to them... and who knows why!?! It’s something that really angers me, not for a specific reason, but simply because they plagiarize left and right and no one says a damn thing... it’s not a particular hatred towards them... I hate the whole category! Indeed, Hugoniot, I'm not replying to you because I couldn't give a shit... I care, and believe me, I care a lot. Who wouldn’t want to live off music? It pisses me off that these three morons don’t lift a finger, they play the part of the cursed rock stars, then they let out a fart (a shit explosion) and everyone is there clapping their hands! My feeling isn’t envy since I don’t consider music a job... my favorite bands have never made a dime (except for Nirvana) and they've always been forced to work, and there must be a reason for that!!!

As for me, I recommend the band that’s been buzzing in my head lately... IL TEATRO DEGLI ORRORI (a fusion of Super Elastic Bubble Plastic and One Dimensional Man). High-quality post-hardcore in Italian. If you go to www.myspace.com/ilteatrodegliorrori they let you listen to the whole album!!! I think you’ll like it.

according to don gilmour, you present yourself poorly towards the entire world. you cannot decide that ummagumma, which by the way is my favorite of the Floyd, sounds fresh and those of Nirvana do not.

anyway, it's undeniable that there are numerous bands on par with Nirvana...husker du, sonic youth, minutemen, dinosaur jr etc...are absolutely not any less, rather, but they haven't managed to make the revolution like Nirvana did. the one who has defined dinosaur jr I believe has never heard a single piece of theirs. damn, j mascis is one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
