In fact, zannaB... you are perfectly right. It's stupid to define oneself as emorock... in fact, the bands that did these things didn't define themselves as emo (it was the fans who did that).
In any case, emo would be that variant of punk/hardcore that talks about feelings rather than politics. This is a load of crap... I mean, what did Husker Du talk about in their songs... how they shot themselves up? NO... what was "Damaged" by Black Flag about if not feelings... the Ramones? I mean, objectivity, the term emo is a neon sign that attracts the gullible!!!

Alright... I think they suck! I mean, they're way too repetitive (I'm talking about the live show... I don't know the album and I don’t intend to get familiar with it)... tiring... in short, they're just not for me!!!

Thank you for this review... and I thought emo was what Rites of Spring or Embrace were about. Anyway, have you ever heard of Settlefish or La Quiete (they're not American, just to be clear)? That’s emo... this is garbage cooked just right for alternative kids to the alternative who do the scisci lynching with the crap (rightly so) against bands like My Chemical Romance!!! Do your homework better next time.

great review...I'm not familiar with the album and I surely won't be in the future...unfortunately, I saw them live and they don't make me move my little foot, let alone bob my head up and down...actually, they really suck hard.

Oh my God... I went to see this movie because all the other theaters were full... I walked in feeling down, thinking I was going to see "Notte prima degli esami" or something like that, you know, films for fools, and I came out really pissed off... I mean, that idiot Scamarcio ruined his reputation for money, making movies for brainless teenagers, and yet he actually has talent... even though the guy playing the brother is definitely more talented. In any case, my final anger isn't really about Scamarcio, who I couldn't care less about whether he's alive or dead, but rather because I had (or at least I think I had) the same impression as you: things were definitely better when they were worse... I mean, at least there was Berlinguer, and someone like Fassino would have been rightly lynched. We were more genuine and naive, we still talked, we tried to remember that in Italy there had been the "uomo nero," we still believed in something. Anyway, I feel sad for myself: I'm only 21 and I feel profoundly old. In fact, if you think about Marx's words... that history is the history of class struggle... you come to the conclusion that history is dead. There's no alternative... either you go in this direction or kill yourself, or at least stop being a pain in the ass. China is the same as America (insert all the necessary prejudices). Anyway, this is my thought: better before... instead of going dancing or smoking joints (which is so ten years ago), they were putting bombs under the MSI headquarters... but it's definitely better. LONG LIVE THE FUTURE.
@laurafiesolana: Did I understand what you meant or did I go off on a ridiculous mental tangent?

it's the name of the live album: roadwork: Heavy metal iz a poze, hardt rock iz a laifschiteil... I know the whole story, but I didn't know the real meaning of the phrase... I mean, they saw that the largest number of spectators at their German shows, which are the most crowded since the stickman is German, were merdallari... this thing particularly annoyed them, and that's how they coined this motto. I didn't know what it meant (the phrase, I mean) but with what I know (taken from one of their interviews), everything comes together. Perfect!!! Thanks
