For the Melvins, I suggest starting either with their early indie stuff that makes my mouth water, such as: Gluey Porch Treatment, Ozma, Bullhead. Or you could go for the major period, which includes Houdini (co-produced by Cobain) and Stoner Witch. Alternatively, you could start with the most recent one, which is spectacular (A Senile Animal). Anyway, my advice is not to stop at just one album or one listen. They're really complex... many simpletons link them to a certain metal genre, but nothing could be further from the truth.

well...so tomorrow you’re coming to take a stroll around Naples and tell me how many records you find in stores? of course, if you're talking about Amazon...there's everything there! anyway, Buzzo plays, as a genre, the Melvins who are neither metal, nor punk, nor rock...they are the Melvins...the best band alive. then if you’ve read that some critic calls the crap that Buzzo shits out sludge speed dark symphonic metal and you want to enjoy the find of the year to feel cool...well, it’s up to you. have fun! for me, the Melvins make the Melvins, which is music that lives in a different hole compared to metal. certainly, your genres and subgenres won’t change my mind...sure you bought the entire Melvins discography online...you’ve read a couple of bullshit...and you draw your conclusions...but come on!

Alright, whatever you listen to, you listen to, the Dinosaur's first three albums are perfect... then the last one (BEYOND 2007) is also really nice... what about the Melvins?
