I'm sorry if you think I judged those guys... I don't know them. My question is, are they little fascists? Because everything suggests they might be, but no one gives a definite answer. If they are little fascists... then it's their problem, I don't agree (in fact, it makes me sick that people like that still exist)... but I don't judge the music because I really don't care. Sure, if they go on stage to do military parades and similar things, they just look more ridiculous than threatening.

Okay, very clear. I hate being a know-it-all... unfortunately, I know everything about them also due to external factors... anyway, I believe the reasoning you're making about age doesn't hold (of course, this is just my opinion like all the others expressed so far)... take old school hardcore for example... no one was over 18, yet they produced much more (I mean especially in terms of ideas) than many forty-somethings in ties.

I believe the reason is a bit of cowardly money... otherwise I don't see what reason there could be to make a fool of oneself by even copying My Chemical Romance.

Anyway, psychopompe, you’ll be a perfect elder who will say: ā€œIn my time… blablabla… kids these days…,ā€ etc. Machina came out in 2000... you want to tell me that in seven years I haven’t been able to understand this record... then after a quick numerical calculation... from 2000 to today is 7 years... from '91 (when Gish was released) to '96 (the year you stopped giving a damn about them) is 5 years... so avoid the generational condescension (that’s what I perceived from your message... if I’m wrong, I apologize), especially regarding an album/career that doesn’t require some deep understanding.

NO...at thirteen I bought Siamese Dream and I liked it, but I wasn't thirteen when Machina came out...then I understood a couple of things and I thought it was better to let it go...

I won't presume to delve into the matter because I don't appreciate or listen to metal, but I find it unfair to label almost all extreme metal as satanist or, worse, fascist. Of course, as fascists, they will never have my respect or approval... if satanists: well, to each their own. In any case, I respect individual choices as long as they are private and not public.

@larok: well... all this hatred is justified by the crappy albums they made. gish is less artistic and more obnoxious than a loud burp. mellon collie is too excessive... if the setlist had ten to twelve songs it would be a great album... but as it is, it's a bloody meatball. adore is characterized by quotes (let's call them that instead of copies or plagiarism) taken here and there. machina... well, machina, saving two songs... at most three, is really the ugliest album in history (since I liked it when I was 13... then my neurons started working... I won't even get into the zwan story). I only save siamese dream (where Billy Corgan's ambition is palpable... a disgrace) and the song airplane flie high, which is really nice. I think I've explained my hatred to you... I know these gentlemen well... I own quite a few of their albums. listening to them isn't fatal, but if you start thinking about what's behind it... I would spit in their faces... anyway, the chorus of the new song is identical to a single by my chemical romance (another big band).

Beautiful brit-rock. Really beautiful and enjoyable, at least as much as a hammer on the balls.
