I'm not trying to be a smartass about the situation... but the group has been going since '95 and they released their first album in 2000... and they managed to gain a bit of visibility in 2005. Really, numbers like those can be fed to a major label.

Well...the resemblance to Motorpsycho is mainly due to some vocal melodies...the drummer who sometimes does backing vocals really seems like Saether...I'd say the Blissard period, not because they sound alike but because it's the most indie album. In any case, since we're talking about Motorpsycho, I wouldn't want to create false expectations...Biffy Clyro make strange music...I’d say it’s crazy indie...very powerful and fast...anyway, the beginnings were much more psychedelic but in my opinion this album is more successful...more complete. According to some, they are looked at with suspicion because everything that’s rock right now is just a marketing operation...I challenge you to listen to this album multiple times and with attention...then express your judgment. PEOPLE, BIFFY CLYRO ARE NOT POSERS. Anyway, regarding Oasis...well, God owes us explanations about such a plague.

I fully agree. Camden Town is, along with the Tate Modern, the most beautiful thing in London. The buzz is absolute, but everything, except in the venues of Camden, pushes in the same direction, and this makes me think. How is it possible that everyone likes the same music? I believe it’s too homogenizing... I prefer the buzz of BERLIN a million times over... there, that’s where you find serious people.

But is no one disappointed with London? Am I the only one who's never satisfied?

ohhh everything is clear (or CLYRO... forgive my dementia). I fully agree. Music may not appeal to everyone since taste is absolutely subjective... so it's up to you. I had never considered your interpretation of trendy... quite similar to dandy in some ways. Anyway, it’s true: the internet takes too much time from you... I mean, attention can't focus on a single object... and often you either underestimate things or exaggerate them immensely... like the Arctic Monkeys :)

Guys, honestly, I don't see them as just posers hanging out with Bloc Party (even if they do... I don't read Novella2000)... I mean, just listen to their music, which I think is completely different from what millions of Brits are hastily pushing on us. I mean... this is truly a great album. It's played beautifully and is not commercial at all.

know-it-all...anyway, as much as the genre (although I agree with you that it's not post-punk) I refer you to their MySpace where among the listed genres is indeed post-punk. I still agree that I have never listened to an Italian album of that kind. You absolutely can't miss the concert...it will surely be amazing.
