Imagine... as soon as I finished recording with the group (mine), the first thing I did was to transfer everything to tape. They might be rougher than CDs, but they have their charm, damn it!

Yes, I’m referring to the original lineup... hand it over, green mind, where you been, and without a sound are solo works of J for me... there are those beautiful ones, where you been and green mind, and then there are the less impressive ones. However, I feel a much stronger emotional connection to the first three albums. What do you think about Beyond?

ghemi... I suggest you start with Bug or You're Living All Over Me because, in my opinion, these albums are by no means inferior to the more famous Daydream Nation and Zen Arcade. Unfortunately, I can't really say because I got to this album after having literally consumed everything they had done prior. However, I believe that here the instruments and audio quality are better than those in the studio (now there are the remastered versions circulating, but I don't know how they sound)... so it can be a starting point, but the hits are missing!
