I wanted to go there, even though I'm not a big fan of it (I’d say not even a fan), but the ticket price was really for the bourgeoisie (I can only imagine how many there were... the review is amusing.

I also prefer Star Trek... then the effects are vintage. I didn't know that Asimov was one of the screenwriters. So, thanks Babel. A nice 5 is well deserved.

The Dionysian is in the book, but also in its cinematic adaptation... I don't think the author of the book explained to Kubrick what to do, and let's not forget that usually books on videocassette are crap.

I imagine there’s a lot to discuss, but I’m not very well-versed in philosophy (at least not in the category of pippementali) :)) of course I’m joking except for the fact that I'm not very well-versed :))
I dabble much more in political philosophy (even there, there are some unbearable monologues) where usually there’s more action... I really enjoy chase scenes, shootouts, and things like that :)

not quite... I mean, it's not like the genius just shows up, turns on the camera, plugs the jack into the amplifier, and does everything that needs to be done. for me, who is certainly not Hegel, Dionysian and Apollonian are two sides of the same coin, and in the absence of one, the other loses meaning too.

Babel, but in music, you can't just throw your hands around randomly and expect a song to come out, and even if that happens, you have to try it and try it again, and then maybe play it every night... I mean, you must definitely add technique to an initial instinct, even if it's not great. I don't think it's very different for films, especially not for this one. For me, the scene where the bone turns into a spaceship is the result of genius.
