They rock and I'm sure you'll like them... they remind me a lot of Nirvana, Pixies, and a bit of early Flaming Lips. The songs are absolutely crazy nursery rhymes. Anyway, I bought the entire discography (3 CDs) in Germany for 18 euros. What a steal!

The melodies of Nirvana are all memorable... just like Mold, in my opinion. Then there’s Mascis, who has his own talent that blurs the line between the music and the voice (which, let's face it, is not much). Sage, for me, has talent not only because I really like the songs, but also for the times he was moving in... I mean, making an indie or grunge album (for all tastes, basically) in '79 is certainly not for everyone. Let's just say that the festwca-thought doesn’t do discounts! :))

Yes, at the Stooges concert. It's too much fun. My opinions are the opposite of yours. I can (hardly) understand how one could think that Mascis lacks talent, but Sage, I have to make a superhuman effort... if you just consider the period in which he was playing and that he was making records at least 10 years ahead of everyone else. Come on, Sage is a little genius... and good old Pretazzo summed up all my favorite songwriters in just one sentence.
