Pier Paolo Pasolini Uccellacci e Uccellini

Poletti, do you remember Descartes? I meant: despite the fact that I like Totò, despite him being an immense actor capable of giving importance to any crap printed on film, despite Pasolini being a beacon for me, despite everything, everything can be questioned, everything is up for discussion because everything is objective.

You missed just one huge detail. The crow is the leftist intellectual before Togliatti's death. I'm sure you know this detail since Pasolini writes it for the not yet awakened neurons at the beginning of the second act. You forget quite a few things and treat fine matters in a coarse way. Why say that Pasolini is anarchic and then Marxist? Because, honestly, if it's not soup... it's wet bread.
Even though Pasolini may disagree, for me this film is a bit like the food cycle; it's a push to be good, which really doesn't pay off. I mean, Totò (the proletarian) gets paid by the lady who eats bird's nests (the sub-proletariat) only to pay the engineer (the bourgeoisie)... in other words, a vicious circle that leads you to be cruel to the weak and obedient to those who are more powerful than you, and that's where the crow appears, who could be any intellectual, even Pasolini. The crow tries to make the two travelers understand that it's not necessary to be bad to survive, that other solutions and scenarios are possible. A beautiful film, and Totò is fantastic as he emerges from those unwatchable films.

it sends shivers down my spine to say grunge... let alone post-grunge... anyway, for bands that have something to do with that music, I recommend: Biffy Clyro, especially "Infinite Land," and Mclusky with their entire discography. It’s surprising, but not really, that both are British bands (Biffy are Scottish and Mclusky are Welsh)... evidently, with all the crap they’ve been forced to ingest, they must have thought about looking across the ocean.

I still miss this... Pasolini is one of my myths. It often happens that you have the chance to speak and end up saying nothing... well, Pasolini uses everything to communicate, to awaken some consciousness. I like him more as a thinker and director than as a writer, and for me, among the ones I've seen, the most beautiful remains *Uccellacci e Uccellini*. Congratulations on having the courage to tackle the greatest Italian intellectual... I've been thinking for a while about reviewing something of his, maybe *La Ricotta*, but I don't think I'm capable of it. Hi and well done.

In my opinion, last days isn't exactly amazing, but it's still quite nice and it's a testament that Gus Van Sant is not a businessman. How many directors would have made a film about Kurt Cobain in that way??? They rely on the visibility gained from the subject... I mean, we're talking about money and not peanuts.

an example of coherence and correctness... circulating eight thousand live albums is just good speculation, either for the die-hard fan or for the thirteen-year-old novice. a group lacking originality like few others... from their vast discography, I only save Vitalogy. the rest is just fluff.

Layne has a really beautiful voice, and for me, that’s where it all ends.
