But why not read a book, why not watch a good movie, why not go out, why not smoke a cigarette, why not have a beer, instead of wasting time in this stupid way?

He took my respect, a bit of chit-chat, and one of my albums... in return, I got a bit of sweat :)

It must be said that the dinosaurs were somewhat discovered by Sonic Youth, who heard them in a New York venue and decided to take them on tour... we're talking about '85. Ah... Moore's new album is recorded in J's studio... Lee Ranaldo provides backing vocals on "You're Living All Over Me"... just coincidences, I guess.

other pearls: thank you rooftrampler, thank you for the fun you provide me. let's start by saying that if you've only listened to green mind, you’d better keep quiet and not judge anyone... the flaming lips art pop? I think you’ve missed at least the first three albums where they do things like dinosaur jr under the influence of a nice acid trip. then where do you hear the similarity between dinosaur jr and butthole surfers? where? then you should know, my dear ignorant, that mike watt has never played with a pick... NEVER, not even now that he’s playing with the Stooges... do you know when he used it? when that jerk J mascis called him to play with him around Europe, and do you know why he decided to use the pick? simply because, according to mike watt, who is the person I’m hugging in the photo on my profile, he couldn’t keep up with him. Cobain had nothing to do with these guys? obviously, but who knows why they toured around Europe and who knows why in '91 dinosaur jr, nirvana, and melvins went on tour together? maybe because they had nothing in common… right, but why then is chris novoselic walking around in a dinosaur jr shirt? who knows why dave grohl wrote any My Hero in which he repeatedly says he dedicates it to that jerk J... shoegaze!?! the only shoegaze band worthy of the name is my bloody valentine and kevin shield, the mind behind MBV, wrote an album in collaboration with that jerk J... it’s called more lights and you’d better give it a listen... so you managed to pull the reviewer out of the crap... GOOD JOB and now go to the back of the class and tomorrow accompanied by your parents.

doing it well, on the other hand, is a whole different matter

this can only be ridiculed: <<The Dinosaur, in summary, are truly the poetic-musical counterpart of English indie rock, meaning a minimalist focus on the inner microcosm and music that is its calligraphic sonic transliteration (one can hear the lingering riffs of the best of these bands: Stereolab and Boo Radleys, noisy dissonances, melancholic melodies, background anger, but as if restrained, never reaching a conclusion, perhaps because one does not want to... until that "Creep" which sounds very much like the albionic "Smells Like Teen Spirits".>> ...my god, what were you smoking before writing this piece of crap review?

this is beautiful… <<A fan of Neil Young and (apparently) English Punk (Clash, Pistols) and American Punk (Crass, Ramones...) as well as Noise-Core (Washington D.C. and nearby), metal and bands like Minutemen and Husker Du>>… let's start by saying that Crass are very English, then he really doesn’t care about English punk at all, and there was no trace of Fugazi-style noise-core in 85, the year of the first Dinosaur album… what did he like? It seems strange, especially considering his taste, but his favorite bands are… his words, interviews… Neil Young, Rolling Stone (in fact, there are often photos of J wearing a Rolling Stones shirt) and Black Sabbath… his words: <<Ozzy is my favorite singer>>.

Friend, don’t talk about things you don’t know... green mind milestone? and bug? you're living all over me? in green mind then Lou was already gone... get informed, get informed... the review is well written, but there are some bullshit that you need to know otherwise you’re not informing but disinforming. where you been is not bad, roughly on the same level as green mind.

From a purely technical standpoint (I can understand that as a composer I might be mediocre, and I actually think so myself), Björk is at most tying Grohl's shoes or setting up his cymbals, or if she’s really lucky, lending him her drumsticks. Kyuss: never liked them for no particular reason.
