I was about to do it myself... well, good review but just a bit stingy: I would have given it a 5 because in my scale of values Metal Circus is on par with Zen Arcade... but that's not a problem. What can I say, Hüsker Dü are one of my favorite bands. The only criticism I have is that they gave too much space to Hart. When he pulls out two songs (great ones for me), like in Metal Circus, and one thing is 10, like in Warehouse (which still deserves a 4)... bye.

Development is the increase of something, for example wealth, without preserving the good. Development only wants to grow without caring about the surroundings; progress wants to grow to improve a little the starting situation, and you did not understand much about Pasolini. I hate when someone is brought up without being fully known. Anyway, I hastily dropped the name like you hastily brought up Pierpaolo without fully understanding him. Sorry... I'm averaging.

How can they come before them if the record is from '85 and then Dinosaur Jr (Dinosaur 85)?

mine, no interpretative key. it's just music: you put it in the stereo and if you like it, great; if not, it doesn’t matter. your attitude is much better than many efforts from little critics.

too bad that the ugly song by nirvana is actually by the velvet underground... nice professors from debaser, they pop up like trash

Damn man... I have to tell you this: you wrote the review on the worst day of my life (January 23, 2007... I swear I'll remember it in full for as long as I live, maybe even after). Last night I put on my dad's battered copy of On the Beach in vinyl, but it's in terrible condition. Today, I went to buy it. Now I was reading some passages I've noted from Journey to the End of the Night by Céline, and while listening to Vampire Blues, I decide: I'm going to see if anyone has written something on Debaser... BAM. Great review, as good as the album if that's possible. I'm adding you, the review, and all this cosmic coincidence to the recommendations.
