"Great review... I've never seen Corgan as an heir, the sound of the Pumpkins has always been more poetic and less clinical compared to Nirvana... thank God, the audience that followed was different too" ... and it's like saying: - do you like Pavese? - no, I like D'Annunzio - Ah good, but what the hell does that have to do with it? - I don't know, but I had nothing else to say - Ah OK, do you like chicks? - No, I listen to Nick Cave - OK

If there was one good thing about the so-called grunge, it was the friendship that the bands had among themselves. Perhaps because they had broken their bones together at gigs with thirty people. When punk broke, it was marked by a beautiful tour featuring Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth, and Nirvana... at some shows, Smashing Pumpkins participated, but they aren’t even mentioned. One thing is the underground making money, and another is just the major label mafias. 0 to the audience of Smashing Pumpkins and Stone Temple Pilots.

Holy crap, is Cohen's peak better than The Dude? I'm afraid to read the review!!! I'm seeing it tomorrow and then I'll get back to you.

I have to say that the more time passes, the more "grunge" makes me want to shit on triceratops heads. Taking Nirvana, Tad, and Melvins out of the equation, there's a lot of fluff left. Sure, I can still stomach Mudhoney, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains, albeit less and less frequently. But the rest is truly garbage, damn it. The issue of Cobain's legacy is hard to explain. In my opinion, it goes more through osmosis. For example, to me, "Puzzle" by Biffy Clyro is a new "Nevermind" (and Simon Neil knows this, and that's what he wanted. Not by chance is the album mixed by Andy Wallace). If I were thirteen, I would really lose my mind in front of all the tiny bands that MTV and the magazines pump up. As far as I'm concerned, the first two Foo Fighters albums are good records, but I don't think that's the point. For me, there's so much beauty in the world that even if I lived a thousand years, I wouldn't waste my time on the crap of Corgan, Love, and their sexual appetites. Nirvana is a turning point. That kind of rock was made by them, they did it better, and they really had something to say... trying to take on their "legacy" is just a way to soil oneself because the comparison is too heavy.

the ugliest NIRVANA album... kurt cobain after the sex change doesn't please me. I don't know: maybe it's the too many hormones that changed his voice, maybe it's the joy of anal sex... BUT HE HAS LOST HIS EDGE OR HAS HE JUST APPLIED TOO MUCH?

I feel you but I didn’t understand anything. I’ll try again. Anyway, the recordings sound like they were made in a cave.
