Okay okay, the screenplay isn't theirs, but I don't think McCarthy showed up to the Coens with a gun in hand :)

I have a question. Does anyone know what connection exists or is believed to exist between Fargo, The Big Lebowski, and No Country for Old Men? In all three, the motive for the action is the suitcase filled with cash and the apparent winner (obviously this, like the motive, is subjective) or the survivor of the moment are either those who consider themselves out of place, like the sheriff, or those who are deemed out of place, like Lebowski, or who are still quite objectively unlucky, like the policewoman and her husband in Fargo. In my opinion, there are points of contact, but I can't decipher them well and maybe I'm just saying a gross mistake. The film, however, is magnificent... what surprises me is the absence of any soundtrack or music. Cold indeed and dry.

great... supersoul, but how many records do you have? If I had a euro for every record you own, I could travel half of Europe, in my opinion. :)

I have no intention of conversing with you and therefore talking over myself. I don't consider myself better at all. In fact, I don't consider myself, period. Have a good day.

I’ll say it again: lessons are not given; they are taken. Go find out whose phrase this is.

Damn Ashanti, you're a desert. Everyone rightly slammed your review, and you come out with an "Eddie Vedder doesn't give a damn"? My commandments then... the thing is, if someone is reading nonsense, they feel the need to clarify. If you tell me rock has no social function, then I wonder what black hole you're living in, and I ask you: what black hole are you living in? If you throw in a Neil Young song to wrap up your middle school essay, then the whole thing stinks a mile away. Why that phrase? Why just that phrase? Maybe because it's completely out of context? Maybe because that dinosaur Neil, despite everything, is still alive and plays like few others do? But do you know that the Pearl Jam made a record with Neil Young? I mean, you could have thrown in a Bukowski and no one would have batted an eye. Then when someone trashes an entire discography of a band (especially if they've been around for twenty years), they need to have a certain understanding, bring some arguments, and instead you come out with this "they've never had personality," which seems like a load of crap to me. Well, lessons aren’t given, they are taken, and you don’t seem like the type to accept candy from strangers (I’m referring to Ghemison’s comment). Bye.

I vote for the Sleep, but I don't count much because I've only recently gotten into dirty music. I think I'll look this one up... though, unlike the review, the cover does not entice me at all.

two more points: 1) my little cousin, who is 13 years old, has the same phrase on her MSN contact, but being of the new generation, she writes: it's better to burn out than fade away. Obviously, she knows nothing about Neil Young and only knows the phrase thanks to the suicide of the rock'n roll angel. 2) Considering that your reviews are always duplicates, it makes one think that you don’t really have much to offer and that you don’t have that much knowledge of rock'n roll... YEAH
