Paving and repaving almost all grunge groups, as modest as they are, is a right, necessary operation and fortunately, with a little desire to dive deeper, simple. That the ghost of tradition hangs over this album, precisely that of Neil Young, as heavily as De Gasperi’s weighs on the midday, is evident, and ghost for ghost I prefer (MY PERSONAL OPINION OF COURSE) the one present in Dinosaur from 1985, which, however, updates the past and launches it into the future decidedly better than this. From '83, I prefer several different albums like Over The Edge, Metal Circus, What Makes a Man Start Fires?... Huevos is better than this, but it doesn’t say much to me either... I don’t know, maybe I’m the one with ham stuffed in my ear canals, but I don’t hear anything so fabulously appreciable.

I swear I will never understand, not even in a thousand years, why you all get so excited about the Meat Puppets. I don't get it even if you draw me a picture. To me, it's simple text theater. They did the stage theater on their first album, and that's where my attraction to the Meat Puppets ends... Thankfully, the reviewer spared us the usual tale of the band being fundamental to grunge and His Holiness Kurt Cobain, which is a historical falsehood.

I repeat myself, perhaps risking to speak out of turn: in my opinion, the little suitcase is just THE means. THE means that the Coen brothers (even though the screenplay isn't theirs) use in some of their films to give a sense of vengeance to those who are no longer there. Well, I believe their films (the ones I’ve seen... not all of them) essentially have the same plot that is openly revealed only in *The Man Who Wasn't There*. People who don't exist and who start to live due to an obstacle or a whim, anyway for a desire for revenge through an external projection of themselves... I resonate with this meaning as I share it. We do not exist unless we are a receptacle of personal relationships. The people who exist independently of everything, unfortunately, are others. For me, it's a beautiful film... five.
