Castellano e Pipolo Il Ragazzo Di Campagna

It's a film of pleasant entertainment where a charming Pozzetto tries to make us laugh and succeeds with simplicity, without being heavy-handed. Pozzetto may not have the sophistication of Woody Allen, but he doesn't aspire to it either. This movie deserves, if nothing else, a sympathy rating.
Rolling Stones 12 x 5

Legendary, the freshness and inspiration of the early Stones was exhilarating; it’s no coincidence they rose to the top of the world so quickly. As for the reception, a bit more could have been done... but it’s fine as it is.

From this film, a new genre was born even in the western, The Magnificent Seven, For a Few Dollars More.
Martin Scorsese Quei bravi ragazzi
Voto:
Scorsese at the peak of form, the most representative, in this film there’s everything he has done before and after.

Puny, these movies are made to make easy money by exploiting the beachside silliness of the average Italian now in disarray. There were more engaged times, as it was 35/40 years ago when they made "political" films that filled theaters to the brim.. they talked about serious issues, but in the end, the box office earnings were counted with even greater seriousness.

The lion here is Morricone.
Castellano & Pipolo Il bisbetico domato

ignorant, jerk and it seems, also a piece of shit.. he used everything and everyone for success, his movies, his songs, and his witty persona always strike a chord with the Italian sheep, however he is one of a kind.. a little genius like few others.
Peter Weir The Truman Show

In the finale, when he discovers the truth, where does he flee to? The film would be interesting from that moment on... where is the artificial horizon of the set in the real world?
Martin Scorsese L'Ultima Tentazione Di Cristo

Pretazzo, I didn't want to put Ford's films on trial; I consider him a master of cinematic art, of course. The militant critics you speak of are not entirely to blame; decades ago, they fought against a culture entrenched in a mental closure that was superior to theirs. Then, understanding gradually emerged... after the storm comes the calm. Today, the films once viewed with disdain are now watched with a sense of tenderness.
