He was a "true Italian" when he disturbed the neighbors at 2 a.m., but after the complaints he made the decision... "I’m going to live in the countryside."

It's true, when the train of real life departs, all we can do is watch through the window as the melancholic stations pass by...

I wonder what valid guarantee an opinion from Valeriorivoli on music can provide. He cites Zappa, Barrett, Captain Beefheart (those who want to discredit commercial pop must invoke these names) and then invites us to enjoy Cugini di campagna or Pappalardo... you tell me.

Have you chemicalized the synaptic process by altering neural communication? Anyway, very fun indeed... I'm sure you'll like the album, it's clear from the rating.

In the post-war era, America was light years ahead of everything and everyone. Europe had cities reduced to rubble, while they had refrigerators, dishwashers, television; they had Blues, Jazz, and Rock & Roll... they were churning out cutting-edge music even before the Beatles learned to play. The greatness of artists, as we know, is more influential in countries that set the cultural tone for the entire world; that's where the vanguards emerge, and consequently, artists have highways to roam, not mere paths. The Beatles' brilliance lay primarily in their ability to disrupt and surprise with their simplicity and genius the musical superiority from across the ocean... which is no small feat considering they were just four scrappy lads from Liverpool. Even today, America has not forgotten that lesson.

I understood the misunderstanding; I wrote 47 in the sense that I was commenting on what "47" was saying. Neu read 67... quite a mess.

What came out in '67 we all know... but already from '65 with "Rubber Soul," the Beatles began to resemble more like themselves... then in '66, a year before those historic releases mentioned by Neu, there was Revolver.

We're talking about '62-63, Neu only understands what he wants..typical.

47, back then there weren't many choices, take it or leave it. There weren't so many groups that stood out for not being boybands; there wasn't the musical history and culture of 50 years of rock. The Beach Boys themselves were a perfect beach boyband... in short, let's also consider the eras before we hastily label the things of yesterday by comparing them with those of today... today they have a completely different meaning.
